DIAL BEFORE DIG

• Always make sure that there are no gas pipelines underground in area where you plan to dig. Digging or running heavy equipment can damage gas lines. Even minor excavations can damage gas pipelines and can cause fire.
• Do not interfere with PNG pipeline or fittings and for any repairs or modifications do not call local plumber or mechanic. Always call PNG Control Room for any such requirements.
• IGL have experts who can guide you about pipe line in your area where you want to dig. They are available for your service on free of cost basis. Please inform IGL before you plan any digging activity. IGL expert will visit your place to help you out in ensuring safe digging.
• Always ALERT/STOP others digging in and around your area
• Always inform IGL Customer Care prior about any construction and modification in civil structure near to PNG installation at your home.
• Always inform IGL Emergency Number (155216) if you find any third party digging work in progress nearby PNG pipeline coming to your premises.
• Road marker and pole markers are installed at suitable locations to indicate availability of pipe line in nearby area. Photographs of marker.
