IGL’s LNG – Driving the Future of Green Transport

IGL is leading the transition toward cleaner and more sustainable transport with Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) for long-haul and heavy-duty vehicles. As a low-emission and cost-efficient fuel, LNG offers significant savings over diesel while ensuring higher efficiency and lower environmental impact. A Cleaner Fuel with Heavy-Duty Potential, LNG is natural gas cooled to cryogenic temperatures to convert it to liquid form. It offers impressive mileage ideal for long haul transportation,  burns cleaner than diesel, emits less CO₂, and offers superior fuel economy.

IGL has already commissioned its first LNG dispensing station in Ajmer (Ajay Meru Palra) and is rapidly expanding its network around Delhi NCR with new stations coming up in Rewari and Dadri. These stations are strategically located along major freight routes to support India’s growing logistics and transport ecosystem.
